Sajal is presently serving as Professor of Strategy & International Business (tenure-track position) with Dongbei University of Finance and Economics (DUFE), Dalian, PR China. He is an active researcher affiliated with International Center for Organization & Innovation Studies (ICOIS) at DUFE, Dalian, PR China.

 

Sajal has been awarded with the highest honour to foreign experts “Xinghai Friendship Award” by Dalian Municipal Government. Initiated in 1996, the Xinghai Friendship Award is the city’s highest honour for achievement by a foreigner in education, economic and social development. The Xinghai Friendship Award 2015, was presented by the Mayor, Dalian City, Dalian Municipal Government, PR China.  

 

Sajal has been also awarded the ‘Best Teacher Award in 2008 and 2011' for excellence in teaching and research.

 

Sajal was awarded the ‘Best Research Paper Award’ twice by the University of Mumbai, India at the International Management Research Conference 2014 held at University of Mumbai from 28th February to March 01, 2014 and also at the International Management Research Conference 2012 held at University of Mumbai from December 14-15, 2012. 

 

Sajal has strong research experience with multinational companies in Sweden, Germany, Denmark, India, Canada, UAE and Malaysia.

 

Sajal specializes in Supply Chain Management Consulting for Retail Companies and Innovation Based Market Research studies. He has also developed a number of CRM modules for industry executives. Sajal has been actively involved in research studies with Datamatics Inc, Panasonic, Telekom Malaysia, The Coca Cola Company, SIDBI, Jasubhai Media, CIDCO, ONREC (Canada) and Schenker Logistics AB.

 

He serves on the editorial board of several international journals and is a reviewer for many SSCI indexed journals. Sajal is a registered doctoral supervisor for Ph.D in management studies and has examined Ph.D theses as an examiner for many reputed universities.
